MARCH 10 - DEPARTURE FROM US (Departure Flights from US are scheduled one day prior to arrival in Cairo for March 11). 

Day 1 – March 11 - Arrival Cairo 

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you will be met by our tour rep and escorted through visa/customs and transferred to hotel. Overnight: Le Meridien Pyramids Giza. 

Day 2 – March 12 – Giza 

Welcome breakfast and group orientation. After which, we begin our journey with a visit to the famous Cairo museum, which houses 3,000 years of priceless Egyptian artifacts, including the golden treasures of King Tutankhamen. Lunch. Afternoon and evening free. Overnight Giza. (B,L) 

Day 3 – March 13 - Aswan 

Today we fly to Aswan to begin our Nile Cruise aboard the 5-star Sun Boat IV. Aswan, which was part of ancient Nubia, is known as the “jewel of the Nile”. Here, we will visit the beautiful island temple of the Goddess Isis, Philae Temple. Lunch onboard our ship. Sunset sail on the Nile with afternoon tea. Evening entertainment and dinner onboard. Overnight Aswan. (B, L, D) 

Day 4 – March 14 – Cruise- Kom Ombo 

We leisurely sail the Nile north to the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the dual aspects of the gods Horus and Sobek, light and shadow, respectively. There will be time for shopping at the traditional markets or “souks” for the evening’s Egyptian party on board. Traditional Egyptian Buffet Dinner. Overnight Sun Boat IV. (B, L, D) 

Day 5 –March 15 - Nile Cruise – Edfu 

Today our cruise continues on to Edfu, the temple dedicated to Horus, the god of Light. Edfu is one of the most impressive and well-preserved temples in Egypt. We will celebrate our final evening onboard the Sunboat IV with an elegant Captain’s dinner. Overnight SunBoat IV. (B,L,D) 

Day 6 – March 16 – Nile Cruise – Luxor 

This morning, we visit the famed Valley of the King’s on Luxor’s West Bank. Later, we will experience the grandeur of Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in ancient Egypt . We end our cruise today, and check into our Luxor hotel. Overnight Luxor. (B) 

DAY 7 – March 17- Dendera - Abydos 

Today we visit Dendera Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Hathor, Mistress of Love, Beauty, Music, and Astrology. WE will connect with the Hathorʼs teachings regarding the blue lotus and its healing properties within the initiation crypts beneath the temple, which contain the codes for “immortality”. We continue on to Abydos for sunset overlooking the temple. Overnight Abydos.(B,D) 

Day 8 – March 18 – Abydos – Luxor 

Private sunrise meditation at Abydos Temple and visit to the Osierion. This is one of the oldest and most sacred sites in all of Egypt, and we will have quiet time for reflection and meditation. We will also visit the Temple of Ramses II, which has incredible artwork, which very few people have seen. After our incredible days at Abydos, we return back to Luxor. Overnight Luxor. (B, L) 

Day 9 – March 19– Luxor-Giza 

Morning check out and transfer to Luxor airport for our Cairo flight. Upon arrival in Cairo, we will be met by our A&K staff and transferred to our hotel in Giza, where we will prepare for tomorrow’s Great Pyramid entry. Overnight Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel, Giza. (B) 

DAY 10 - March 20- Giza –Spring Equinox/ New Moon Solar Eclipse 

We spend the day on the Giza plateau and the Sphinx, the main energetic portal, or “Stargate” for the incredible astrological alignment taking place today. (B) 

Day 11- March 21- Saqqara -Giza 

After breakfast, we will visit the famous necropolis of Saqqara. We venture on to the temple site at Memphis (the first capital of ancient Egypt) to visit Sakkara, the incredible Stepped Pyramid of King Zoser and the sound healing temple of his renowned grand architect, grand physician/high priest, Imhotep. We will also visit the pyramid of Dashur on the way to the Saqqara Palm Club, where we will have lunch. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight Le Meridien. (B,L) 

Day 12 – March 22 - Departure Flights to US !
